And you genuinely get, I mean, if you're listening to this in black and white, you can get 65 miles per gallon out of it.

I think we have seen the bottoming out of secondhand EV values.
I think my advice would be if you're buying a new EV now, plan on keeping it because it will last.
it really will so you know don't buy it with the intention of throwing it away in three years time or even trading it in buy it and keep it and get the use out of it because a environmentally that's what's better and actually in terms of the secondhand value that'll probably be what's better because if you hold on to it longer by the time you do eventually want to get rid of it the market for secondhand electric cars will almost certainly have grown and you might actually get a better price for it
Set your budget really carefully.
It's very easy to walk into a dealership or a second-hand dealer or anything and just get bamboozled by the shiny metal and end up paying more than you wanted to for something you don't actually need.
So do set your budget carefully and do try and stick to that.
Do your research.

Get all the advice you need and more.
And work out what's the right car for you.
Do consider EV if you do have a driveway at home, if you have off-street parking.
If you don't, look at a hybrid instead.
Incidentally, plug-in hybrids, same advice as for EVs.
You need home charging to make the most of them.
So bear that in mind too.
Buy an interesting car.
Honestly, I despair of giving advice to people when they ask me personally, what should I buy?
And I give them advice to buy something that I know is a really, really good, nice car that's nice to drive, that's interesting, that's good looking.
