And really what needs to happen is that a scheme like this needs to be introduced.
If it's going to be in place for January, it needs to be out and about and in the public domain and people filling in forms in November.
Or even better, late October.

Even for stuff that's made, you know, like Toyota makes all of the Corollas that we buy in Burnaston in the UK, in the Northwest.
It still takes a while to get those cars from, you know, stamped metal at one end of the factory to a rolling car at the other, get them onto a boat and get them shipped over here.
Yeah.
And if you're buying cars that are coming from China, that are coming from Japan, that are coming from Korea...
Well, you know, add on three or four weeks, longer even to that, because they've got to be put on a bigger boat and it's got to come to Rotterdam or similar and then get shipped over here.
If they want to do it properly.
Which, you know, hitherto they haven't.
Right.
The EV with the cheapest list price right now is the Hyundai Insta, which is a little dinky four-seater.
I mean, you would call it a city car, but I've driven it up and down from here to Belfast, which is where I live, and back.
And it's absolutely fine.
It's a great little car on the motorway, to be honest.
