The current Dacia Spring is still on sale, but it's been taken off sale in Ireland because there just wasn't enough interest in it.
That was, even without the grant, that was as low as €15,000 at one point, but it was a very, very basic car.
and felt it there's a new spring coming it'll be early next year before it gets here really but that's going to be based on all the same bits as the really cool looking new Renault Twingo but it'll be cheaper than Twingo probably by about 2,000 euro that's going to knock it under 20,000 euro for its for its entry-level price quite short range about 250 kilometers for a lot of people that's enough
Because the price of batteries has come down to the point where you can make a small car and make it profitably when it's electric.
And previously, that wasn't the case.
Whereas now, the price per kilowatt hour is basically the wholesale price of the stuff you need to make a battery.
