So it does work very well.
But again, eyes open.
You need to know what you're dealing with.
You have to know what each of these things involves.
Obviously, taking out any finance package, any loan package, I mean, we say car finance, it's a loan.
That's what it is.
You need to make sure you can afford those repayments and you need to make sure you can still afford those repayments in three or four years' time.
And you just need to make sure that you are aware of the fine print that comes with each deal, like those condition and mileage limits that come with PCP and with leasing.
And like the fact that with HP, you don't own the car until it's finished being paid for.
Yes, the keys are in your hand.

One of those is leasing.
And technically, over a given period, you will probably, I emphasize probably because there are swings and roundabouts to this, you will probably pay less leasing a car over three years than you will taking out a personal loan, taking out a higher purchase, or going on a PCP deal.
Okay.
PCP looks like it's really cheap because of that thing of effectively splitting the price of the car in three.
You've got deposit, you've got guaranteed future value, and you've got the bit in the middle that you actually finance.
Okay.
