It's a process.
But that's what we want to work towards.
That's number one, is a good assessment and knowing that our goal is for them to become more regulated.
other is, as you just said, Debbie, that
Parents are going to need to be resourced.
They're going to need to have some child care, but really quality child care so that the child care specialist isn't just putting them on the computer and letting them play video games the whole time.
We want that person to actually follow the plan and have standards and expectations and languaging with our kids so that that's learning away from the parent, too.
So all the teaching and learning doesn't happen from the parent.
It happens from other sources as well.
And then there's just the fact of time off.
I mean, you're going to need to tag team parent under those circumstances because many of us are just are not going to have the emotional resources for that.
We all, you know, as adults, just like our kids, we all come with our own wiring and our own temperaments.
And some parents are going to be able to hang in there much longer than other people who are going to have their own sensitivities and needs.
And we just have to honor our own needs as the same way that we're inviting our kids to learn about who they are and manage their own needs as well.
Yeah, that is a good question.
I don't know if I have an easy answer because I think it relates to how deeply into it any parent is and how challenging and hard it is to bring back the kid from whatever behavioral problems they're demonstrating.
But the biggest thing that I think really helps parents a lot is just to know that, A, there's a name for this, that what's going on with them is a phenomena that's a legitimate and real phenomena.
And to know that there is a path forward, that there are some things that can be done that are going to take them out of this state and help them feel successful and help their kid get their needs met as well.
So once parents realize that there's a horizon, that there's a
you know, that there's a way out of this, they automatically start feeling better immediately.
