And not only that, but more recent interviews that, like I said, appear to have been telephone conversations with Kinahan from behind bars in Dubai.
which has come out with some extraordinary stuff from Kinahan's perspective as he awaits extradition.
Like I said, I think they kind of have a bit of history dating back to when they did the first podcast.
The first that I would have been aware of English was that infamous interview that did or did not happen in 2022.
I don't know their personal relationship,
But when that first interview was recorded and not broadcast in 2022, it was really a period of time that Kim was engaged in what we now refer to as his sports washing time frame.
When he was trying to kind of like sell himself now as a respected businessman and to try and leave his, basically wash his tarnished reputation.
why he presented himself as this businessman.
And he selected very carefully choreographed images of himself with various boxers because he was trying to promote himself as a boxing promoter.
That interview was recorded around that time.
So you can kind of suspect or think that was part and parcel of some sort of orchestrated campaign from Kinahan to try and sell himself again, get rid of his tarnished reputation.
It had all gone quiet on the Kenyan front since April when he was first arrested.
And if you look at the time frame of his right-hand man, Sean McGovern, he was arrested in Dubai.
He was extradited over to Ireland and now being convicted.
But there was a kind of a longer time frame there.
He was arrested in Dubai in October 2024, extradited back to Ireland in May 2025 on a military airplane and convicted on June 26th.
So there's a few months gaps there between the various stages of him being brought to justice.
McGovern, obviously, was famously in the hotel with Kinahan and was wounded during that shoot in 2016.
Now, Kinahan's arrested on April 15, 2026, and he's now expected back in Ireland within weeks, as I mentioned earlier.
So there's kind of like a what's going on here is some sort of fast tracking situation.
