Good, how are you?
Thanks for having me on.
I think probably a bit of both.
I think the Rays didn't play well, didn't play the way they did, and sometimes those
series right in and out after the break are kind of odd.
I mean, game baseball, essentially game rhythm.
And, you know, I give Boston a lot of credit because, you know, you would think that you win nine in a row going into the break.
You're probably the one team that doesn't want to have a break and they kept their rhythm.
And for whatever reason, I thought that,
You look at what the Rays did in that series and they're starting pitching, which has been a big part of the reason why they're in the position they're in, just was not good in any of the four games.
And I think in this five-game skid, they've given up, I think it's 25 earned runs and 21 innings and change.
It doesn't matter who you're playing, whether you're playing Boston or Colorado.
You give up those kinds of numbers, it's going to be hard to win baseball games no matter how good your offense is in those games.
And Boston's one of the better run prevention teams, too.
So they did a good job all around, and now we'll kind of see where things go from here.
Well, right now they'd be in the playoffs with the season ended today, but I don't know.
I still think it's very hard to tell for anything.
You know, even for the Blue Jays, I know I heard your comments to start, but.
I looked at Atlanta in 2021 when they won the World Series, and they didn't get over 500 until game 113.
They were 56-56, and they elected to stand pat.
