I mean, if you were to say that a player in his age 21 season was going to hit more home runs than anybody since Eddie Matthews and could surpass that before the season ends and has the fourth most RBIs of any year ever,

of any player in franchise history.

You know, I probably would not have believed you in February or March.

And I think beyond that, he's just gotten better as the season has gone on and he works his tail off.

He has a desire to get better.

He comes with wonderful enthusiasm every day.

And he's certainly a centerpiece for this group.

You know, who knows how good he can be even going forward because I think that, you know, as he continues to impress, the league's going to continue to adjust to him.

And, you know, I hope he continues to make the adjustments that he's making because, I mean, he's been –

I would hope that he gets votes in the top 10 for MVP this year.

I mean, there's only four players in the league right now.

If you look at what he's done since then, he's been very, very good.

It's hard for a 21-year-old, now 22, to be the centerpiece of a lineup, and he's handled it really, really well.

You know, it's easy to say I don't know, and it's probably a better question for the president of baseball operations, Eric Neander, just because, you know, how they evaluate this year, how they go going forward.

Remember, it's been a unique season where you're not playing in your normal ballpark.

The schedule was a bit wonky.

You know, I think that the impressive thing about Yandy is that he continues to play in

at a high level and he doesn't seem to age, at least from an offensive standpoint.
