So that's one follow-up.
There are concerns about parking.
Ironically, currently on the September 21st work session, we are going to propose that you expand the residential parking area in the town.
Currently it's based on zones that meet qualifications, as you have mentioned, or criteria.
We're recommending that that be expanded for your consideration within the downtown
boundaries to be found.
That may be offer some relief versus...
The process that we have to go through, which is very inefficient and very time consuming so we're basically looking for a downtown parking zone that's on your 921 work session.
To see if you wish to go in that direction, and then, if you do, and we tweak it that'll lead to a public hearing later in the fall.
So I thought, for the benefit of the residents and to let Council know that these things are on your upcoming future what you do with it'll be up to you so that's all my comments, thank you.
Yes, thanks.
Thanks, Doug.
So option three would just replace the downtown signs, but what about damaged signs outside of the downtown?
So you're saying we would eliminate the signage outside of the downtown area?
What would we expect to be the outcome of that in the long term?
But at some point we chose to do that signage, I would assume that there was a reason we thought it was a good idea at the time.
And has that logic either by staff or by our consultant changed in terms of the usefulness of the signage?
I see, okay.
So out of curiosity, is it more or less expensive to work in sort of a piecemeal fashion?
In other words, will we spend overall less money if we did the whole project?
