Yeah. matched
Is it going to be a bit more of a positive argument rather than dismissing one over the other? matched
David Humphries and Raj and Raj and Johnny Sexton and they've always been different players so we're allowed to have different players that play the game differently and you can select accordingly you know yeah I think he's he's one player at least you can kind of look back on the last two three months and we'll be feeling a lot a lot better about his game um let's move it on to matched
The refereeing. matched
It's funny. matched
I saw a lot of people very, very frustrated by the breakdown and the lack of contest that Nick Berry was allowing. matched
It was interesting because when we were in the ground, we didn't have... In the press box, obviously, we had screens in front of us where we could see the action, but we didn't have any volume on it or we didn't have the refling gear pieces. matched
So... matched
We didn't really get a sense at the time watching the match of the amount of coaching that Nick Berry was doing around the rock and really not allowing a contest. matched
It was only coming out after the game and seeing people talk about it that it really kind of hammered it home. matched
You were pointing it out in your column today. matched
I know people might disagree with the decision Nick Berry was allowing or disagreeing with the lack of contest he was allowing, but you did point out in fairness that matched
it probably was a very consistent approach across the game at the very least. matched
Yeah, we'll come on to that in a second, 100%. matched
Just from my own experience of watching that game and not having the not being able to hear the communication between the referee and the and the players. matched
Do you think the fact that we are actually able to hear this on the pitch has a big impact in the way we actually view it after the fact? matched
Let's get on to that and it's like you mentioned the Nick Berry talking about the you know the clear runway and players getting out of the way that was essentially the mitigation that was that was used for the yellow card that James Ryan was was blocking his his path to get in and clear the ball and that's how we ended up clattering Josh Vanderfleer over the head. matched
Yeah, and again, just going back to our experiences in the stadium on Saturday and not having the access to hear the communications from the referee. matched
When Luke Jacobson came back, I don't even think in the moment we actually heard an announcement that the yellow card was going to stay a yellow card from memory. matched
I don't remember that being called out over the stadium. matched
