And he was absolutely unbelievable.
matched
He was very, very impressive.

I was coming into this tour knowing Ruben Love mainly from those games in 2022 rather than Super Rugby, which I know he was brilliant in as well.
matched
Yeah, and I mean, I'm sure there was a lot of pressure on him as well with, you know, Bowdoin Barrett is there standing in his suit, watching on.
matched
Richie Mwanga, I'd nearly forgotten about Richie Mwanga until a lot of New Zealand journalists were asking Dave Rennie about him on the team announcement day that would he be involved on the tour they have coming up to South Africa and
matched
Rennie was kind of saying, basically, no, he has to come back and put in his hours at NPC level.
matched
And if he's good and we need a body over in South Africa, yeah, we'll give him a call.
matched
But, you know, at the moment, Ruben Love is the man.
matched
If you look at Ireland's options at out of half,
matched
are they at least coming out of this season with a little bit of a better picture at out half?
matched
Because Jack Crowley had a very good season, obviously missed out on this campaign.
matched
But I don't know your thoughts on it.
matched
Mine would be Sam Prendergast has finished the season quite strong.
matched
I know he had a couple of errors at the weekend, but I think he had a few less errors than other players.
matched
And I think he's starting to show a few more of those flashes that we would have been more accustomed to seeing from him
matched
18 months ago we're obviously going to see Kieran Frawley playing a good bit more at out half next season as well for Connacht how do you how do you look at the out half position heading into a World Cup we I think we're still waiting to find out who's the the nailed on option but I think we're seeing a little bit more a little bit better of the options we do have I don't know how do you agree with that
matched
Well, I suppose the hope would be that if we come down to November and there's a full slate of fit and available out halves, that there obviously is going to be a debate again.
matched
There's always going to be a debate.
matched
That's just the reality of it.
matched
But is the debate going to be more about what each of them is actually offering to Ireland rather than picking apart the elements of the game that they don't have?
