is the younger cohort, the younger group do tend to tend to identify a lot of school about that, you know, I've got this, I've got and even sometimes and and to be trying to be respectful but fair.

Sometimes it even almost um becomes competitive in certain groups.

And this is maybe where we see the contagion effect occur sometimes.

Uh so you know, it plays out in schools in particular, um, you know, in certain ways, uh, and hence the importance of the adults in the room.

The identifying, you know, with with with the label and and and I think you're you're spot on where you're going with that, the the exposure to it.

You know, if I just quickly click on one social media platform or let me throw a couple, you know, whether it's talk or whether it's TikTok.

If you're told something over and over and over again.

Um, you know, I as a you know, training psychologist once upon a time

You'd learn about something and then as you're learning about it, you just self-identify because you reflect, oh, that's happened to me.

Oh, so was that.

So you put yourself in that category.

So I can see how easily today

we can move from the concern of uh a perceived a threat to to you know I'm anxious now um and just losing the the model of let me just think about it, let let me slow things down.

And obviously as a parent, um, you know, I miss the spot plenty of times.

Of of of you know, trying to hear the child through before making an assessment.

And tying that into that language, you're you're you're right.

If the parents and the teachers, the GPs, the adults in the room, uh use language like it's a difficult situation, or even might be maybe a, you know, it's an anxiety provoking situation.

So pr that is provoking.

You know, having all of your peers looking at you, you being assessed.

Um, you know, anytime I I need to show a staff member something, I I can't type on my my my um keyboard.
