It was tough there at the beginning and obviously, you know, there's a lot of changes in the squad and a new manager coming in.
But I think Carla has definitely, you know, turned the ship around and all the backroom staff, they've done a great job.
The girls are playing with a lot of confidence as well.
Taking it to the top teams like the France, not looking anywhere near out of place and also going toe-to-toe with them at times.
So huge, huge strides have been made.
So I'm looking forward now to these last two games to finish off what's been a, you know, a positive season
positive campaign so far and then obviously help us towards getting to Brazil next summer finishing as high up in that league table as possible.
Yeah, it's massive.
You know, one result can really be, you know, the turning point.
I remember I think it was the Finland game that we won 1-0 and I feel like that was like a turning point in that group for us because it was away from home.
They were seeded higher than us, probably second favourites in the group.
And I think once we got through that, then we got the momentum behind us.
And I think you just saw the shift in belief.
And I think that's also with the girls.
You've seen that in the polling game.
You know, they've been at the last summer Euros as well.
So to be able to comfortably beat them, I think you just see the confidence grow and momentum is everything in football.
And once it's gone, it can be very hard to turn around.
But when you're on it, you're literally just riding the crest of the wave and
I think for sure the girls have that momentum at the moment.
