You had to transition the business to be SaaS and cloud.
And I think that's very different from having a business that starts from scratch as a startup and is pure born in the cloud.
I suspect there are advantages and disadvantages.
One business has lots of customers and lots of revenues and cash flow and those kind of things to try and enable that transition.
The other one has no customers but probably starts from a a greenfield as it were.
From the perspective of Visma making that transition from on prem to cloud, what would you say are the kind of one or two or three biggest challenges that you you face to enable that to happen?
Absolutely.
Yeah, the economics are frankly a no brainer when you get there.
So it's
And knowledge infects the rest of the business over time and
Terrific experience.
Yeah.
I'm gonna ask you about scale now because Visma probably not completely unique, but certainly is one of very few businesses in Europe that has a B2B SaaS business at real scale.
And I'm gonna define scale here as a billion dollars of revenue or more.
We've probably got nearly two billion dollars of revenue in Bismar that is kind of pure SaaS.
You know, there's lots of businesses that maybe have ten million dollars or twenty million dollars or forty fifty million dollars, even even up to a hundred.
But there are very big differences, I think, between that size business and a billion dollar plus kind of business.
What are the kind of one or two things that you'd kind of pick out that are different about scale and enable you to kind of scale in SaaS?
Yeah, and we see that obviously in sectors that Visma doesn't participate in as well.
So whether it's niche engineering software or whether it's kind of certain parts of healthcare or parts of legal software, you know, there are other verticals in which you can see exactly that kind of transition happening.
