But it's it's always worrying to see them out there and then they're creating the noise which is confusing the client's understanding of what Pilates is and what it isn't and the expectations that they've got going into those studios.
You know, my former life as a digital marketing director, we didn't social media was nothing like it was today.
But if we look at social media, we have to understand how it works.
It is worked on an algorithm, and the algorithm, you know, they got into trouble with this recently.
It's been proven that it works on extreme content.
And that's extreme in every single, you know, genre out there.
And Pilates is no different.
And I am get to speak to some of the biggest social media stars in our world.
And they're saying this to me.
I'm having to put content out there that isn't reflective of anything I ever teach.
And yet.
You're coming out of a teacher training.
And I think about this, I came out of my teacher training 15 years ago.
Pilates Anytime had only just opened that year.
It just started.
YouTube videos are twenty minutes.
There was no videos on social.
I'd spent thousands of pounds on my training and thousands of pounds getting my hours and my mentoring and all of that.
And that was a really good thing because Carl, it meant that I had my manual.
And that's it.
