And it meant that I had I had spent a lot of time and money learning that content inside out, back to front.
And then I was like certified, and I still really only had my manual.
And it meant that I got to take the work that someone had spent years working on, and this has been years in the making, and it comes from the work of Joseph Pilates, and I got to then explore it with real life clients.
And see how it landed.
And I remember vividly being presented with because I opened a studio straight out of qualifying because there were no studios in my city.
I had no choice.
And I remember being met with these clients with big, complex needs.
And I'm thinking, I have no idea what to do with, you know, I have no experience.
And I thought, I'm just gonna do what I've been taught.
And these people's lives were transformed.
And I remember thinking, my God, like this is insane.

The challenge you've got now is you're coming out, you're graduated, you've still spent thousands of pounds, you've still gone through the work, and you're being bombarded with the algorithm's extreme version of what Pilates is.
And I think a lot of teachers, new, old, experienced, and not experienced, are all getting
confused about thinking that they need to deliver that in their studios.
And especially the newer teachers,
They don't know 'cause they've they've not got the experience yet to realise that's not realistic.
And it becomes performative.
People feel like they're then trying to, you know, it's the harder the better.
Well, I talked about Pilates changed my life.
