I was definitely.
sort of brought up in this way that more is always better, harder all is always better.
And I learned through my thousands of pounds and my hundreds of hours that in order to do the advanced work, which is often the stuff you're seeing on social media, I had to find the ease.
I had to find the efficiency.
Then my body could meet the challenge that it was being asked to do.
And the social media is driving this confusion, I really believe, on
what it is that we're supposed to deliver in our classes.
And I think teachers are getting confused.
They're then trying to deliver an exercise that they've seen.
They don't understand where it comes from.
They don't understand how to build people up to it because they haven't got that experience yet.
And I think that's what's causing a big piece around this is the social media.

Again, let's look at what works on social.
It is a certain body type dressed in a certain way, being able to do performative, advanced moves.
And if we think of our studios, that's not what we're seeing.
We're seeing very normal people.
And if you think about up to a few years ago, most people started Pilates because something hurt.
They loved how this work made them feel and they stayed for that reason.
