I loved when you asked this question because I think it's a really important conversation to have.
Most of us
Maybe this is changing a little bit today, but most of us got into this work because we loved this practice in our own body.
And I think it is a practice.
And I think there's a huge challenge that now we're running studios, there's a lot of noise, there's a lot of pressure in a way that there wasn't certainly five years ago, there really wasn't in the way there is.
And I think a lot of us are not doing the practice.
And
This is more than just a fitness modality.
Pilates is very much a practice.
I passionately believe that we are here to teach.
And I think the teachers that are out there and the studio owners that are out there, we're all forgetting to do our own practice, to look after ourselves.
I saw a stat uh online earlier today, and it was talking about a piece of study that was done showing the benefits of Pilates versus antidepressants.
And how Pilates had a much bigger impact on our anxiety levels and depression levels.
Like it is this side of it that we all fell in love with.
And I think
One of the things I'm realizing in myself is how do I make sure that I still show up for my practice and not just the ten minutes where I run through a sixty minute class in ten minutes, which we all do as teachers.
So I think
That is a part of it.
I think we're getting so busy we're forgetting to remember why we got into this.
And it's some a message that I have to my teachers and my students a lot is let's not forget to be the client sometimes because I think that is
