Yeah, we don't know exactly, but him versus Joe is the perfect test, I think, on paper for where his character is going.

He changes his style.

Can he adapt to an absolute legend, especially in Ring of Honor, AEW, an absolute legend who does it all, who can do the high flying, can do the fighting, can choke you out, can take a punch, all of these things.

an absolute test for him, but the perfect one to show how he can be different now and still win matches.

Yes, and then showing that and showing the wear and tear of the couple of weeks of being champion is, I said on many different occasions, I'm anti this a little bit, but I see where they're going with it and what the play is that any week he could lose any time.

I really wish there was some happy medium where it was like,

Every two or three weeks, we had a challenger and the story and the reason why, but that's fine.

What they're going with is everybody talking about the title being on the line and going all out and leaving your body out there.

It is something to where it is Darby Allin who could put his body on the line against anyone on the AEW roster and possibly lose because of the story of him putting everything into every match every week.

And it just goes to show that I feel like that's going to be his downfall in a positive way because he didn't care about making it matter long term.

He goes, I might only have this for a few weeks.

I want everybody to watch and to be talking about this is what an AEW champion can be.

They could put it on the line every week.

They put on the line every other week.

They can put their body on the line every single time.

And that is good for the sickos, but also bad because you can lose that title out of nowhere.

And in this case, I think with the story with MJF and the long-term feud back and forth, it will be the perfect time, the perfect bad guy to take advantage of somebody who is running on fumes because he put his body on the line so much.
