There's such a great story and history with those two, with MJF and Briscoe, and getting the great promos.

Man, Briscoe's been delivering for a long time.

In the ring and on the mic.

And yesterday just got me to go, man, I got to start respecting this guy as one of the guys that should be fighting for the world title on a regular basis.

Big time.

In my notes, the first thing was just how great Briscoe is at delivering a story of a promo, and it really made me excited about it.

And you're right.

I was told this a long time ago by Vince.

even if you have a four minute or a 20 minute match.

And if it's cold or the story is somebody else, you make that good match.

But remember the important part that we're all going to be talking about.

If you do it right, is that connection on the microphone afterwards?

So we forget sometimes in pro wrestling that,

The world isn't just those matches.

And the matches are always great on AEW.

But when you can get that match and then get that realness on the promo, that stands out in any company.

I cannot stress enough.

We all have this issue.
