It was like, you know, the guy said, look, you know, you've got the spine of a 39 year old wrestler, but you're, but actually in this, you know, in the scheme of things, it's pretty good.

Um, and it just turned out that I just needed these specific anti-inflammatories.

cleared it up instantly, that was a thing that had been bugging me for like two years.

So it was really just a case of just me being a stubborn idiot, right?

And just sort of almost not wanting to know and thinking, oh, I'll just figure it out or I'll just wear a back brace or I'll just do this or whatever.

And all I needed was some anti-inflammatories and it was just like something had just aggravated this specific stabilizer muscle and it was just super inflamed.

Well...

Yeah.

But a lot of that is just in the perception because it's not been, you know, it's never been presented as like I'm coming back to, you know.

So if that's something that people are perceiving, I would argue that that's almost maybe just because that's how they want to see it.

And like I said, I've been very careful to not try to project my own expectations onto any of this.

When the GM, I think we talked about this the last time I did your show, when the GM opportunity was presented to me, you know, it wasn't, hey, be the GM for a little while and then we'll figure out what, no, it was like,

do you want to be the GM of SmackDown?

And I just, and I said, yes, I'll be the best GM you've ever seen.

You know, because you play the hand you get dealt, you know, like some of this stuff with Gunther is real because he does represent the opportunities I didn't get.

He did have people lobbying for him that I didn't have.

He didn't have the TNA stink or different misconceptions about him that I had based on my relationship with this person or that person or anything like that.

But that's not to say, but I'm not presenting myself as a victim.

I had those things come early, too early.
