was before there's there's his life before that point in life after that point i think i think of the night that i met um our band scott simon and josh and just walked in to write this profile of this group of entrepreneurs that worked from a co-working space in brisbane and i just was my life changed after that and so they were the ones that said just stop what you're doing and become an entrepreneur basically i was like what the hell are you doing with your life
And I needed that belief and that push.
And I was lucky to get it.
Sort of did I get it late or early?
Who knows?
But I got it at the right time.
Yeah.
Just like 40 minutes north of Noosa.
If you've ever been north of Noosa, you might have gone to Boreen Point while I lived at Alander Point, which is further out, sort of towards Gympie.
Yep.
12 acres, very idyllic upbringing and surrounded by rainforest.
My dad was a woodworker.
So he was home a lot, always in the shed making furniture.
And yeah, just grew up playing golf and eating fruit off the trees and building my own little golf, little putt-putt golf course and basketball and my brother skating.
And it was just like, we lived so far from town, that was sort of a big deal to get into town.
So you had to kind of make your own fun.
But it's a beautiful place to, beautiful physical place to grow up.
It's something I'm still working through at the moment because when I went to university
And maybe this is a Brisbane thing, but the first question you got asked in law was what school did you go to?
And people were asking actually what private school did you go to so I can kind of figure out who you are.
