People are just incredibly complex.
The idea that there's a subset of sort of tried and true safe hands, leaders, management, you know, everyone's slightly weird when you get to know them.
That's our sweet spot.
Let me be clear, the CEO of a regulated business in banking, but even then I think they're probably all slightly weird because who would want to withstand the pain that it would need to take to be the CEO of a regulated bank?
Something weird must be driving you to withstand that amount of pain.
Yeah, for the best sometimes, I think.
Ultimately, you unravel if you don't introspect.
But for a while, you know, introspection doesn't always lead to places you want it to.
We assume introspection is a good, like if some people introspected and really faced up to who they were, that, you know.
They wouldn't see it as clearly as you do.
But there would be some equivalent.
Some, like, again, why would you want so much pain?
Why would you want to absorb so much pain?
If you were not running from something equally painful or being driven by something equally, that drive has to come from somewhere.
And it's not just, I want to be a great person and shine sunlight on the world.
Like everyone has darkness in them that is a part of who they are.
And I just don't, I just think we just don't talk about that sort of as, I think we're kidding ourselves if we don't acknowledge that.
