He had 22 passes defensed through his time at Texas A&M, and he's just annoying, man.

Like, I love annoying, pesky cornerbacks who can get up on the line of scrimmage, who can press you, who will stick to you and are just so smooth in your transitions with

instantaneous, reactive quickness.

And that's what Will Lee is.

Fourth round consensus, I'm also higher than that.

I like his footwork at the line of scrimmage.

Again, stays low in those transitions.

Excellent explosiveness out of his breaks.

Just a controlled mover.

You can see the athletic ability.

You can see the size.

You can see the length.

So there's a lot to like when you're talking about his ability to play man coverage.

And look,

His tracking skills, I have it as good.

I know there were some games where he was giving up some catches at the catch point we talked about before the podcast, but I found him to be disruptive and, again, annoying.

I felt like he used pretty damn good timing, and I wish I had it tallied because this was actually the first player I watched.

Every year, my process, I don't know why I do this, I always watch a random cornerback, usually from the SEC.

And he was the first evaluation I wrote up this year.

But I just want somebody who has those excellent man coverage skills to stick in the hip pocket, who can press up on the line of scrimmage, who understand and has some level of discipline and the right transitions and footwork to excel at the NFL level, which I believe he does.
