Amanda retorted, slightly irritated at the implication, as she was personally a big fan of making in-person phone calls to check in with her friends.
Amanda, you call me more than anyone.
You call me more than Kenny, Tim exclaimed.

Who the hell is Kenny?
Amanda replied, her confusion deepening.
Tim merely stared in bewilderment at his friend as she drove.
This had to be some sort of prank.
Perhaps his tight band of buddies had decided to mess with him while he slept on his flight.
The point of such a jape he could not fathom, but...
What made the matter all the more confusing, and to a degree concerning, was how absolutely serious and confused Amanda looked.
She was no actress.
Tim knew this after seeing her one and only attempt at the craft made when she was cast in a student film years ago.
It just so happened the film was being made by his best friend, Kenny, who quite clearly cast her just so he'd have a chance to talk to her.
The chance panned out, the film not so much.
Yet here, years later, Amanda sat beside him, convincingly playing as to having no memory of his phone, his watch, or Kenny, his best friend.
