I was watching the Sunday morning shows when he said it, and I'm just like, who does this guy think he is?
Yeah, boy, that's something.
And I would just throw in this.
I would just say this to Secretary Besant, who is worth about, I think, half a billion dollars the last I checked.
I would challenge him to divest from his farm, because he hasn't done that yet.
And he should.
President Jimmy Carter had to divest from his peanut farm when he was elected back in 1980, or not 80, 76, excuse me.
And he ended up losing that peanut farm because somebody poorly managed it when he did that.
you know the rules don't apply to these people the rules don't apply to this administration and obviously uh this president has surrounded himself with loyalists who are going to continue to tell the lies and say the things that he once said and you know that you tell a lie enough times and people start to believe it but i think we are starting to see the cracks form especially here in rural america people are starting to wake up to the lies

I'll just throw in this.
I've said it already, but I think one of the big solutions to all of this is let's get together and let's figure things out cooperatively.
Let's find ways to have conversations like this across rural and urban, across political spectrums, all of those things.
That's the only way we're going to get through this.
And certainly up to the midterm election, we've got a lot of work to do between now and then, not even trying to figure in what 2028 looks like.
But we've got to have these conversations.
They might be difficult, but they have to happen.
And we've got to figure out ways to come together, because if we don't, we're just playing right into what they want.
And that's more division.
