I'm it's worth kinda mentioning in passing that the warrior class throughout most of ancient civilizations is the most prestigious class to belong to, even more so than the the priestly class.
If you're wondering why somebody would do this to be a battlefield grunt, you're kinda missing the point.
It's like this is how people got rich in the ancient world and owned a lot of property and stuff like that.

He details the transition between societies that prize priests over warriors.
That's cool.
And like very early
Human civilization, it's much better to be a warrior than a priest.
But if they survive, think about how strong they must be.
Some of it is for the same reasons.
It persists as a cure for migraines and epilepsy.
You might think that's pretty drastic for a headache, but you gotta remember there's a type of migraine called a suicide headache that's so bad that people literally want to kill themselves to stop it.
It's not a euphemism.
People would literally rather die.
They're like a drunk toddler.
Yeah, I'm terrified of these because they're common among middle aged chronic insomniacs, so every time I get a headache I'm just like, Oh shit.
But I don't have them.
Yeah, that's another reason why I'm I'm good with the cluster migraine.
