It's a long article, so I might have skipped over the father and daughter scene part.
Maybe we'll get back there.
Continuing on, quote, Okay.
There's a lot there.
This is what I'll say.
I feel like games deserve to have the space to be art and express and have things to say.
This is me still not understanding the exact full context, but even reading the things that they express here as far as the content warning shit.
Obviously, there's a bunch of fucked up shit in the game.
If they're expressing something that I think is...
I guess worthy art that is something that feels like, you know, it is speaking from a place of, we have something to say and we're using these elements, not just to show off, like not just to be like a sexy game, not just to be like a, you know, gratuitously fucked up thing.
If we're making art here, then art should be able to exist on these platforms.
Yeah, but I wonder how much of this is coming off of earlier in the year we had the discussions about the fucking payment processing companies cracking down on certain things and that leading to possible censorship and all that stuff.
I don't know.
It's a whole big conversation that I think we're going to keep continue having in the industry.
I just wanted to end in a place where it's agreeable.
I want art to exist and art to be able to
feel like it can go there right and obviously to your point you know what where is the line as far as sex and sex being a thing where it is like this is purely for people to enjoy the sex of it or this is
Sex that's saying something, right?
Like, that's a weird, it's a weird line to make.
It is.
