Yeah, we're here and it is a very somber scene right now.
It's turned in very much so a vigil.

i'll pan up here and you see the crowd has really grown in size uh over the course of the last couple of hours i was out here earlier this morning and there was just a few people reflecting uh saying the name of alex pretty and now you have a crowd that has really grown in size these were the same streets that were quite active yesterday clashes between demonstrators and police and and
The amount of law enforcement agencies that were out here, it was almost like, who wasn't out here?
And part of what frustrated people is that they saw local and state police appear to be protecting those feds that they were directing the ire at.
I'm being asked to leave here because I interrupted the memorial, so I'll just cross the street as I walk and talk.
But we'll get to the other side here.
And you see behind me the crowd that's formed.
The police officers are there.
sort of protecting the people now with fun to reflect.
This community is traumatized and you see in their eyes, you know, just hours before, I guess the day before Alex Pretty was killed, that was at the elementary school, Valley View Elementary, where five-year-old Liam was taken.
That school in Columbia Heights, 19, 20 families have been impacted, you know, just days before five-year-old Liam was taken, a photo that galvanized a lot of people that seem not to care.
know you had renee goods killing just before that and then you know just as the community is sort of coming to terms with where is liam oh he was transferred to dilly detention center where is his father they're really you know transferring people out of here very quickly uh they wake up on saturday morning to news of the killing of yet another one of their neighbors and it was interesting this morning don because i had coffee with a second amendment supporter you know you often ask yourselves and i think we often ask ourselves where's the line for people where's the
