And for me, when I was called up, John was, you know, obviously at the heart of that that great team that um I caught the back end of and um someone that
just has so much influence on the the clubhouse, but also the city.
And just uh you know, you as a younger player, you're like, wow, that's an incredible thing for like your own baseball career to have like that much impact on on other people.
And then um finally like his his generosity just with
Um, you know, the way he took care of people around him and hosting and thinking of other people, it's just like all of that was just kind of everyone can kind of do that in their own ways, but was I think kind of a blueprint from what you want from a a veteran player in your locker room.
Yeah.
Uh
I it just it it's been a really, really fun addition to our group.
I mean before we get into performance, just like somebody who I feel like his his gratitude for just playing baseball, being in a big league clubhouse um is just is really high in the way that he has he has fun at the field every day, obviously takes his work seriously.
There's a reason he's got ten years in the big leagues, but um he's got a very healthy perspective and that's a a great thing to add to
a group that you know we've got plenty of veteran leadership and such, but like from a guy who's not playing every single day to like be around and like constantly be a source of fun and insight and all those things is just is really great to have around and it's been fun being his his teammate this year.
Um but his quality that bat
not playing every day.
It's just like it's so, so impressive to me.
And um
Just uh last night that ball was just absolutely crushed.
I mean, all homers are fun, but when a teammate really gets into one like that, that was one of our our better bullets of the year right there.
So um fun to watch and um yeah, just excited to to have him around.
Yeah.
Um I mean it like you said, it's you're on a different side of the field as much as I've played short in my life, like
