World Baseball Classic, both leagues, every round, something.
I don't know.
But the guy is built to hit home runs and he absolutely dominates it.
He does it against the best pitching in the biggest situations.
And I really hope he gets to 500 homers and forces his way into the Hall of Fame.
And that would just make me so happy.
I understand.
Yeah, right.
And he's an incredibly smart player about his game, and he's kept himself in great shape as he's gotten older in his career.
And if he played in a different era and different things were emphasized, I'm sure he would have adapted and figured that out as well.
But I think he knows his value and who he is, and he just really dominates that.
And there's a lot to be said for it.
Across the league?
Yeah, I mean, I kind of think the biggest part of that is just the zone is smaller.
Like the edges are truly the edge as we're seeing.
And I think there's always been a little bit of a buffer zone just with human error from umpires that you'd expect.
So it's definitely the smallest strike zone the big leagues has ever had.
So I think that's just got to make it harder to throw strikes in general.
I don't think it's been emphasized to players, but maybe players are feeling that and just getting a little more passive defensively.
which could also lead to lower batting average, right?
