It's probably 8 a.m.

in the middle of California, Manteca, Stockton area.

You get some valley fog in the morning on some travel ball games.

A little different setting, though.

Probably 13, 13, 14, classic travel ball stuff.

I only had one at bat where the fog was pretty intense and I only saw one pitch.

So I think it wasn't the best offensively.

The real challenge was going to be the pop-ups though, like in Ian's at bat where the ABS stopped working and the scoreboard wasn't picking up like velocity or what pitch was being thrown.

You hit a pop-up foul and no fielder even moved and it was a little bit of a weird feeling.

So I think that's when they knew it was time.

Very strange day.

I mean, we're so much in the routine of playing the day games on the weekend there that just playing a true Saturday night game was different, but fun and obviously an amazing atmosphere that night.

But yeah, stayed and watched the fireworks and, you know, we'd gone home around midnight or whatever it was and still a ton of people out.

So yeah, it was a chaotic day.

I don't know the exact year.

It's from his Braves years and I think was many years there as well.

So it's like navy and blue, you know, or navy and red Braves colors on the...

Can't sell anymore, but that was the original.

I mean, there's been a long history of guys using gloves for a long time, and he takes meticulous care of his with, I think it's a mink oil, something like that.
