It's been a unique stretch.
Definitely that road trip we had in New York and Milwaukee was crazy, and we went 6-1, but it was a challenging stretch, which made it that much more satisfying with all the injuries and schedule changes, and then even in the past week, the weather's been intense and all over the place, and
Always something new, but I feel like we've responded to everything pretty well.
Yeah, I mean, you get those crazy offensive win days at Wrigley, and there's some wild scores that can happen out there.
But, yeah, each day is definitely its own thing.
It's been all right.
I mean, it felt good.
it felt good to come through in a big spot on Sunday against the Cardinals.
Obviously that was, you know, they take a lead three, two on a big swing and then the response by our offense to, to immediately jump back and swing that game around or felt really good to be, you know, in the middle of that.

on a Sunday game and heading into an off day.
So that felt really good.
But, yeah, I feel like I'm in a good spot.
Yeah, we had three guys in our bullpen on Sunday ago, multiple innings, and just the efforts from everybody down there to cover –
uh you know a lot of outs and a lot of injuries and it's been a it's been a lot for for everybody involved down there and always appreciate guys that are willing to take the ball and really go for it like that and webby's been you know good for so long now

It's just like you get into a certain age in the game now, and if you're a great player, obviously you'll keep getting opportunities, but they're not just handing out contracts to guys to keep you around.
The emphasis on young players and cost-controllable players is so high that playing the game longer and longer is getting hard, and it's an amazing thing to have five guys on our team this year reach 10 years of service time.
