For me, I had gotten really caught up in the spend less on everything, which I think is the vision that most people have for wealth building.
And that came from, let's be real, the Dave Ramsey course that I came in to because, you know, he is yelling at, you know, if you want to get out of debt, you better run.
He is coming.
You better get right.
Like, and he just and I still have like.
I have Dave trauma.
I mean, he was definitely a great beginner source for me, but I became married to this idea that spending money equaled bad.
Like if I care about my future, I have to stop spending money.
And the way that that's manifested for me was not just like the overthinking Starbucks orders or they used to like flip weird things on marketplace, like cloth diapers to make extra money and stuff.
Like I feel the biggest example of this is when I did get out of debt.
So we got out of debt.
We did that very quickly.
We had, you know, for me, I worked this soul sucking sales job to get out of debt and to celebrate that.
We, we had, you know, had our emergency fund.
We bought a house and had our first child.
And we're like, let's celebrate.
We have worked so hard.
Right.
I grew up in a, my mom was a flight attendant, so I love traveling and
very fun for me.
