It was actually in 1845, Felipe Subria petitioned the Mexican administrator, Pio Pico, for the Buena Vista land.
And he had squatted there for about, I think it was like around 10 years or so.
In 1846, he received about, it was a little bit over 1,000 acres that became the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe.
And there's another, there's two other ranchos up there, Rancho Guajome and Rancho Vallecitos de San Marcos.
the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe is the one that we've been giving tours at for years.
Oh man, about three years.
And it originally started out as a little tour once or twice during the Halloween season.
It got popular, and people really admired it.
We had some write-ups with different newspapers, so that gave it some attention as well.
It's a beautiful Adobe.
They have a lot of events there, including weddings.
It's a really popular spot for weddings.
But many, many, many historical people of San Diego actually lived there at one point.

Quite a bit of paranormal activity there.
