So I'm basically calling because I need some advice on how to handle a family relationship with my brother-in-law's wife.
I had an affair a couple of years ago, and my husband and I have reconciled.
We've stayed together, and I've made amends with most of the family, and we're actually on really great terms.

Oh, it's so hard because she acts like I don't exist and she ignores me.
Yeah, I guess the practicality of it is the part that I'm struggling with because it definitely triggers my past, like, rejection issues and, like, my people-pleasing issues.
Why does she get a vote?
I guess because the family gets together often.
I guess where I struggle is when we are in the same household, and usually it's for multiple days because it's at big events.
