And I think, funnily enough,
The defense is actually going to decide the Super Rugby title overall.
But just in terms of their attack, in that first half, you could tell Damian McKenzie hadn't played for a wee bit.
He just wasn't quite on.
The timing just wasn't there.
And then when Josh Jacob came on, there was a little more fluidity.
Now, granted, the game had broken up.
a touch as well, but you could just tell that Damon was just getting back, but you saw enough, and then we saw the couple of tries, it's like, oh, okay, he's taken his time, he's settled back in after being out with that head knock, and so that's where I think they can continue to make the steps up.
I think there is just a little more polish on the attack, and then just, again, some of the defensive stuff,
they've done.
I mean, you look at the minutes 51 to 54 against the Reds, where they defended 28 phases really well.
Then there was a knock-on by Sammy Pennyfin now.
Then they had to go to a scrum.
Reds worked a really, really nice move, but you look at the
the defenders coming across to get, I think it was Trayvon Pritchard in the corner, four of them.
And they were hauling tail to get over there.
That shows a team that understands the defensive assignment.
So on attack, I think there's still definitely another couple of gears.
And on defense, I think they can squeeze a little bit more in terms of what they are doing.
But so not quite.
