is going to be given to you by Amazon.
And so you'll see here that we have for this one, a 205 suggested bid, $1.54 to $2.56.
But our actual average cost per click here is only $1.21.
And this is because Amazon suggested bid of 205 over here,
with a bid range.
And that bid range is going to be on the low end of what you can expect to get conversions from while also being on the high end.
And then we have next to that, our actual bid.
And this is where bid adjustments come in.
So you'll notice here that we actually have a 39% top of search with only a 95 cent bid.
So how's that happen?
Well, that's bid adjustments.
essentially what we're doing here is we're actually bidding 95 cents and we know that on average to get a click you're going to have to be somewhere between 154 256 but that only takes into accounts all of the different bid adjustments and so instead we only care about top of search so we bid adjust for top of search where our average cost per click is going to be a dollar 21
This is where essentially whenever you are going towards any type of keyword, any type of category, you really need to understand what is the core of your average cost per click for where you're actually converting.
Because you'll also notice that we have a secondary here for a keyword group.
Right, and this is less than 5% of top of search at $1.06 with our suggestion being $1.07.
And that is because this one has a bid adjustment
down.
We aren't bid adjusting specifically for top of search.
Therefore, we're not actually showing up for it.
This is where the core of understanding comes from when you are looking at trying to get into any category and trying to look at what your overall profit should be.
