I want to talk about the police statement that was tendered to the court.

C's father in law.
What did he say?
The father-in-law in his statement said that he expressed concern about C speaking to or receiving advice from Peter Fitzsimonds and Lisa Wilkinson because of Peter Fitzsimonds' uh longstanding critical views of Jones, but also Lisa Wilkinson's reporting in the Higgins matter.

So this was
That was a common thread, Amanda, throughout these witnesses, the way that C would raise these allegations about Jones, but it almost in passing or in casual conversation.
And nobody seemed to really probe or interrogate what he was saying further.
And this was one recollection of this witness of an instance where C has made a remark referencing the way that Jones would behave around him.
