Uh, childhood best friend was like, Wha when did you become this person?

I came to the United States at the age of three as a refugee.

I am part of a tribe called the Pelot.

A tribe and storytelling and the audit and the auditory approach to conveying messaging is just something that's embedded in just how my parents talk.

And so in that, it shows up not in the most affirming way as somebody who now is the parent.

Like I used to categorize as like, why would my mom or my dad exaggerate something?

Right.

So they let's say you're you're supposed

The conversation then is like, oh, you're out in the streets, gallivanting, doing all these things.

What are you doing?

And then it just like a whole world gets built right around you.

And you're like, what?

Where is this coming from?
