approaching this person in that moment with the huh the curiosity of who what is this now who is this now when we touch each other when i am here touching you and being touched by you what is what is in this exchange what can i discover what is what is presenting itself what is arising
How can I listen?
And of course, at this point in time, it's been so many years and so many hours of practice that I have an under-consciousness library of information that gets to surface, that is related to skill and practice.
It's not coming necessarily out of the ether nowhere.
But it is also in the zone of the unknown.
And that for me is where also the conversation of life and death comes in.
Because I think part of the reason why people are so against aging and dying is this terrible fear of the unknown.
And the need to control is so much about not having to not know.
And for me, the unknown is a sensation of falling.
And that feeling of falling for me actually is quite pleasurable.
Impact in a hard way, in a bad angle after falling is not so great.
But falling itself is a lovely feeling.
And so this idea of the unknown being inherently harmful because it's unknown, I think is a mistaken idea.
I think there is mostly unknown.
And in fact, becoming familiar or becoming comfortable with the feeling of the unknown and intentionally entering into it
does a service to our capacity to be alive and to enjoy all that is coming and arising in life and to show up for the unexpected and to be a part of something that's even better than we could have imagined.
It is available when we can inhabit that space of the unknown.
And I think healing is a part of that.
know it has that mystery uh it braided into it so when we're working with healing people working with healing together helping the situation there's that space that feels very important to to inhabit to be with as part of how we fight navigate our way in touch or in dance together
Capoeira for sure.
