and use a fairly high draft pick on a quarterback and hope that gets Jalen Hurts to do what they need him to do.

They failed to find the right common ground with Hurts, and that has dragged down the offense.

And the sooner they admit their deeper problems and address them, the sooner they'll be in a situation where they don't have this offense that just disappears for at least half of a game, if not more.

I am very aware, though, that for everyone to get right...

There's a chance there's going to be one to get wrong.

So I try not to take victory laps.

I'll take it as money in the bank for the next time I step in something while taking the victory lap that I'd have to scrape off of my shoe.

So I'll stick with, as Charles Barkley says, as long as the paycheck shows up on the 15th and the 30th, that's all I need.
