They should have really prioritized NPR more.
I've always been curious about the post-punk label as well.
I feel like he almost has more in common with people like Brian Eno or even contemporary artists like ML Book.
I just feel like a lot of his work is about impulse, over polishing, about negative space, and there's kind of this connectivity and human center that isn't always as present in other post-punk albums.

I think there was a quote that he said on behalf of this new album recently, where he says, empathy is the essence of humanity.
And I feel that something really felt throughout this record.

That was one of my first impressions when that came out.
I was like, wow, the new rapping era has begun.
Unexpected turn, but I also love it.
Absolutely.
And as someone who is a long-standing Darude Column fan, I implore everyone here to take a deep listen.
And I feel so lucky.
I feel like we're in an era right now where there are artists that have had such huge careers like Slow Dive and Boards of Canada and Darude Column coming back with new albums after proving that they crossed generations and that their sound has really held up over the many years.
