Our kind of... Our issue is that we're still reliant on the average pricing through the electricity rate and that if gas is the main...
consumption being used, then we're paying the gas rate.
So that's still the issue in terms of the European market.
And it's not something that we can change, but that's essentially what's causing a price to be up.
um i think it's it's down to the overall dynamics of the pricing that there's more than anticipated sell back to the grid and obviously the they don't make money off of that typically as much as they would start having to pay you typically paying it's around about what they're paying for the price now i know that it's the average of what they're paying for the price but at the same time it's down to the use so they're paying
you what they believe that is profitable for them at the margin that makes sense for them alongside the rest of the people in the market.
Yep, they are, but they're paying activity on a cash basis rather than the way they would have like markets set up within their own purchasing where they would have that kind of purchase 12, 18 months in advance and pay the market back through futures options.
So it's more like a cash basis of purchase.
So it's down to the fact that the cash has to go right away pretty much to you as opposed to the market.
They can kind of take time paying it over that like planned...
overall period.
So it's around about the price that they're paying in the market for what they're getting.
So it's coming down.
And typically as well, so the amount of solar panels that have been installed over the recent years, the supply through micro generation has gone up significantly.
So if the demand is around about the same or a little bit higher, supply has gone up much more than that.
So the price has to come down to match it.
Well, again, it is down to they were trying to get a certain market.
They thought that there was an EV market there.
So, you know, charging you less, giving you more for micro generation, energy savvy customers that they thought they could get.
That didn't work out for them the way that they planned and the costs have now kind of come to bear.
