And so the suspicion I think amongst industry insiders is that he would move the deal to a company that allowed him a high profile position.
So he stays relevant.
Now,
He has a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders as of the Warner Brothers Discovery Board.
So in theory, they should keep him in check.
But certainly that hasn't stopped speculation from people who think that David Zaslav prefers the Netflix deal because maybe there's something in it for him in terms of a position.
You probably should not be saying that, but it's interesting that he suggested that Netflix will have regulatory issues should they try moving forward with this deal.
And then what's also interesting, Don, is despite David Ellison and Larry Ellison sucking up to Donald Trump, he bashed them earlier this morning in this deranged, unhinged true social post.
