And he just went crazy saying that actually 60 Minutes has gotten worse recently.

And he says that they are not better than old ownership.
So, you know, if you're David Ellison and you really are counting on Donald Trump being in your corner, I imagine you're paying very close attention to that.
And it makes you wonder, too, you know, whoever...
I mean, they could he could cause a lot of problems.
Surely.
I mean, his DOJ, his Department of Justice can sue to stop the deal.
And then it's up to Netflix in court to prove that they would not basically be a monopoly or it would not be violating antitrust laws if they were to purchase Warner Brothers Discovery.
And same with Paramount.
Now, you can argue the case on either side, and there's a lot of people talking about whether Netflix buying it, they're really competing against YouTube and Amazon, which are much bigger still.
The other side says that if the number one streamer buys the number three streamer, that's a big regulatory problem that could be bad for consumers.
And so there's going to be a lot of regulatory agencies that weigh in here, Don.
That's the short end of it.
Donald Trump can certainly apply pressure and make
the regulatory hurdles a lot more difficult to clear for either, you know, Netflix or Paramount.
And so they are going to want his blessings.
They do not want an angry Donald Trump in the Oval Office making their lives difficult.
