It's just crazy nonsense that he spouts unchallenged.
And to your point, like, look how Trump actually embraced Mamdani.
It was strangest thing, but it's like he respected him because he didn't bow down.
I think you're right.
He does not respect people that he can walk over.
He's done with them.
But he uses them.
He uses them, but he doesn't respect them.
And regardless, who cares about what Donald Trump respects or whatever?
The right thing to do is, I think, should be the moral compass of these companies, right?
Like, what is the right thing to do?
What will history look back on us and say, like, that company, that executive, they stood tall and they did the right thing.
When you go to bed at night, do you want to be the person that's
flattering power?
Or do you want to be the person that's a thorn in the side of power?
And I think journalists should ask that question, whether they're producers or whether they're editors or whether they're star correspondents or anchors.
I think executives should ask that question.
And I think the owners should ask that question.
And I don't think history is going to look kindly on the Mark Zuckerbergs of the world or even Tim Cook.
I just think these are going to be very embarrassing moments in history.
