Meeting the moment we need to come together in the US and Washington, D.C.

to to actively be resisting this regime and and also acknowledge that this has happened.

The issues that are happening right now are not just because of Trump.

They are from a legacy of genocide that was under Biden.

They are from a deportation machine that happened, you know, years ago under other Democratic leadership, as well as Republican.

So we are really wanting to address the systemic issues and also address the fact that like, what is, who is our enemy right now?

And it is this administration, but it comes after a legacy of a U.S.

empire that started in this country on the genocide of indigenous people.

I mean, I am,

In awe of the movements who came before us.

I mean, so many people have resisted and have been resilient out of necessity.

I have a choice to be able to stand up.

I have all the comforts in the world that I don't need to think that these issues pertain to me.

And yet I look to leaders, I look to movements, many of which are rooted in the global south.

I mean, right now we're seeing this happening all over the world.

But again, historically, something that we I get that inspiration of the fact that people never gave up.
