They never gave up by choice.

They never gave up by necessity.

And right now, I think.

some of our, there are leaders that we can point to, but we can also just point to the various people in our neighborhoods, in our schools, in our workplaces, in our social circles.

There are parents coming together to surround schools to make sure that ICE doesn't come to their schools.

There are restaurant workers who are organizing to protect the very same people who put that food on the table for this regime.

I really think the power of food right now, whether it's farmers,

whether it is restaurant workers, dishwashers, who make it so that people can go out to eat, the very same people they're trying to push out of their communities.

So I get my courage from people who are closest to the injustice, who aren't able to stand up and scream, aren't able, not even willing to do that, but people are afraid right now to leave their house to go to work, to take their kids to school.

So I find my inspiration courage from those people who would love to speak out, would have loved to not even in the first place have to leave their country.

And also like the fact that,

We are going to be repressed from standing up, but people in the DC jail right now, the majority of those folks are black and brown and from poor and low income places because their communities have been neglected.

As much as we're going to be screaming and shouting against what we know we're fighting for or fighting against, we also have to be doing the work and be taking the lead from people who are reminding us what we're fighting for.

Safety is health care, is housing, is access to clean food and water.

And until the material needs are met for safety.

folks in this country and folks around the world, we have to keep resisting.

We have to keep fighting.

And fighting doesn't look like just in, not everyone's going to have this opportunity to do what we did last night or, you know, just two nights ago, I also was in a restaurant with a minority whip
