But what I'd say is,
People are going to be seeing a situation coming up to the budget where they're seeing this, and I presume because it was brought in mid-year that we're going to see an extension of the VAT rate in the next budget.
But what you're going to be seeing is people seeing this reduction that most economists have said there's no economic rationale for this VAT reduction on the hospitality.
They're going to be seeing that continued while at the same time their fuel prices are going to be increasing.
And I just don't I can't see how that's going to be popular.
And I think the reason that the government have put themselves in this position is they could have started unwinding those those fuel reductions now.
But they didn't want to do it while the EU presidency or the presidency of the Council of the European Union was going on because they talked.
Far too polite.
Bring clarity to the situation.
